Additional information:
How can I skip the intro movies? Navigate to \Program Files\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Movies\. Rename the following files: Dice.bik -> Dice.bik.bak EA.bik -> EA.bik.bak Intro.bik -> Intro.bik.bak Legal.bik -> Legal.bik.bak welcome.bik -> welcome.bik.bak
Play the game without the disc? Method 1 - **best option** (maintains integrity of game files and online compatibility) Create a mini-image or full image of the game disc using Alcohol 52% Free Edition. Mount the image in DaemonTools or another virtual drive application. Hide the virtual drive using a tool such as Pr0t.Stop, YASU, etc. Run the game. Method 2 Use a no-cd executable.
Method 3 Purchase a digital-download version, e.g. from Steam.
Run the game in a window? Execute the game with the command line parameter +fullscreen 0
