So speed was of the essence. I also greatly enjoyed blasting people off of the platforms with Throw or Shockwave I was playing on Normal though. I think it's time to replay it with an Infiltrator on Insanity.

Ah, I just read that if Shepard dies at the end, your save file won't import into ME3. Makes sense. You'd have to really try to have Shepard die though.

according to bioware boards you'd have to NOT upgrade any system of the normandy and NOT do any loyalty mission; that's when you're most likely going to end up pretty much dead ^^
and yeah, it was a bit of a letdown at the end, better then that ridiculous fight with saren in ME1 but still ... at least they could have made it longer, i mean seriously, they said the ship allone was big enough to take in earths population, but the station which is like 100times bigger is like 500m long and you're through with it in about 30-45minutes?
good game, but my next playthrough will have to wait till some more DLCs become available

good game, but my next playthrough will have to wait till some more DLCs become available SPOILER!!!! Highlight to see.The only way for Shepard to die is for your entire team to die by the end, which as you said require you to not do any ship upgrades or loyalty missions. This causes no one to catch Shepard when he tries to make that last jump towards Normany in mid-air.

Did everything and it took 52 hours. At least 25 of which was scanning planets. Apparently, you don't need 800,000+ of a resource.

800k+? thats a lot of dough ... only spend a few hours scanning, only when i needed resources for a new upgrade, so it only took me about 35hours. 50+ is really impressive, but i suppose it will only get a few hours more with new dlcs ... whenever they may come
