This year was a big year for game releases, with major titles such as Battlefield 3, Modern Warfare 3, and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim all released, along with loads of other excellent titles in all genres. But how did the games stack up when it came to widescreen and multi-monitor support? Which developers are supporting the WSGF community?

Four separate awards are being presented: Three "Field of Vision" awards for excellence in widescreen and surround gaming support, and one "Narrow Minded Award" for shunning our community.

View the full article for a look at the physical awards the WSGF had made, the site Founder/Editor-In-Chief featured on NewEgg TV, and the press release the WSGF sent out...

AMD Radeon HD 7950 Review

AMD is following up the release of the flagship Radeon HD 7970 with the HD 7950. This card rounds out the top tier of the new Radeon HD 7000-series (The 7800 series will be the midrange tier, and the forthcoming dual-GPU card is in a class of its own).

Our review looks at the widescreen and Eyefinity performance, both in single card and CrossFire configurations. Additionally, we take a look at how it stacks up to the Radeon HD 7970 that preceded it, and the Radeon HD 6950 it replaces. Finally we'll look at it's price/performance ratio and help you decide if this card will fit your needs.

Sonic Generations is a quite fun game and a great example of the capability of the WSGF users/developers to fix a game that otherwise would have never worked.

Was burning the midnight oil when I did this so kind of messed up the camera angle a bit and all that but most importantly the video made it and now its live for you to watch.

Besides regular weapons and an auto-cover system which work similarly in and out of the water, your character can use the submarine equivalent of a jetpack to "sprint" and fight currents, and a harpoon to activate switches or perform silent kills. Some close encounters are settled through button-mashing.
